A Rosebud couple's dreams of exploring Australia are set to become a reality after they won a remarkable $1.6 million in the TattsLotto draw. The Mornington Peninsula residents secured one of the six division one winning entries in draw 4415 on Saturday, November 11, 2023, bagging a total prize of $1,666,666.67.
The husband, who routinely plays TattsLotto (Saturday Lotto), was going about his morning when he received a life-altering call from a lottery official.
“That sounds like a fairytale!” he exclaimed with joy.
“Thank you so much. What great news!"
His habit of buying tickets online, despite his wife's skepticism, finally paid off.
“I’ve always enjoyed playing TattsLotto. I’ll buy a random ticket if there’s a draw on," he said.
“Funnily enough, my wife has always been sceptical about me purchasing my TattsLotto tickets online because she thinks people only win with in-store tickets. But today, I’ve proved her wrong!"

“I can’t wait to get off the phone and tell her the good news – she won’t believe me," the husband shared excitedly.
“My wife and I have always dreamt about taking a year off to travel. We want to go around Australia and explore. We can’t wait."
Their winning 50-game QuickPick ticket was purchased online at the official website.
