Motor Vehicle Appeal, Lota

Police are appealing for public assistance to identify a white coloured four door vehicle, similar to a Toyota Corolla or Hyundai i30.

Investigations indicate that on 11 January around 5.50pm, the vehicle was seen driving erratically along the Esplanade between Lota and Manly.

It was alleged that a male person was seen hanging out of the rear passenger window waving around an orange and white coloured chainsaw. The chainsaw was reported to be running and revving loudly at the time.

Police are seeking any information, including witnesses, dashcam footage or mobile phone footage to help identify the vehicle's registration number along with the owner and possible occupants.

Investigations are ongoing.
