Motorcyclist critically injured in crash - Double Bay

A man is in a critical condition following a two-motorcycle crash in Double Bay today.

Just after 12.30pm (Saturday 30 November 2019), emergency services were called to New South Head Road in Double Bay after reports that two motorcycles had collided.

One rider, a 23-year-old man, sustained head injuries and was airlifted to St Vincent's Hospital in a critical condition.

A second rider, aged 25, was not injured and will undergo mandatory testing.

Officers from Eastern Suburbs Police Area Command are investigating the circumstances of the crash.

Motorists are advised of traffic delays on New South Head Road and are urged to avoid the area or allow extra travel time.
