Motorcyclist dies after crash - Dulwich Hill

An investigation is underway after a motorcyclist died following a crash in Sydney's Inner West today.

Just after 5pm (Thursday 20 June 2019), emergency services were called to Old Canterbury Road and Dixson Avenue, Dulwich Hill, following reports of a motorcycle and vehicle crash.

The male motorcyclist was treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics before being taken to Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, where he later died.

He is yet to be formally identified.

The female driver of the Subaru station wagon was uninjured and taken to Royal Prince Alfred Hospital for mandatory testing.

Officers from Inner West Police Area Command attended and established a crime scene, which will be examined by specialist police from the Crash Investigation Unit.

A report will be prepared for the information of the Coroner.
