A report will be prepared for the Coroner after a motorcyclist died near Tamworth today, NSW Police say.
Just after 1.30pm (Wednesday 29 August 2018), emergency services were called to the Oxley Highway, Bendemeer, after a motorist reported a motorcyclist had crashed on the side of the road.
The rider, a woman believed to be aged in her 60s, died at the scene. She has not been formally identified.
Officers from Oxley Police District established a crime scene and will investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash.
