Motorcyclist dies in hospital, NSW

A man critically injured in a motorcycle accident in Sydney’s south-west on Friday has died in hospital, NSW Police say.

About 11.30am on Friday (31 August 2018), emergency services were called to Cowpasture Road, Horningsea Park, after a collision between a motorcycle and a Toyota Hilux, which were both travelling northbound.

The motorcyclist, a 25-year-old man, was treated at the scene by paramedics before being taken to Liverpool Hospital in a critical condition.

The driver of the Hilux, a 20-year-old man, was not injured. He was taken to hospital for mandatory testing.

Yesterday evening (Sunday 2 September 2018), the 25-year-old died at Liverpool Hospital.

Police from Liverpool Police Area Command continue with inquiries into the incident and a report will be prepared for the Coroner.
