Wangaratta Highway Patrol officers are investigating a fatal motorcycle crash at Whitlands yesterday afternoon.
It is believed a motorcycle was travelling along Mansfield-Whitfield Road when the rider lost control and crashed into a tree about 2.20pm.
The rider, a 60-year-old Wodonga man, died at the scene.
The investigation into the cause of the crash remains ongoing.
