Motorcyclist Killed in Crash North of Orange

A motorcyclist has died after a crash around 20km north of Orange this morning.

Emergency services were called to the Mitchell Highway near Tantallon Road, Belgravia about 7.30am today (Tuesday 10 February 2026) with reports of a motorcycle crash.

Officers attached to Central West Police District arrived and found a motorcyclist - believed to be aged 17 - had left the roadway and crashed into an embankment nearby.

NSW Ambulance paramedics commenced CPR, however; the teenager died at the scene.

The Mitchell Highway is currently closed in both directions - please monitor livetraffic.com for updates.

A report will be prepared for the information of the Coroner.
