Motorcyclist seriously injured in crash – Moorebank

A motorcycle rider has been seriously injured following a crash in Moorebank overnight.

About 11.35pm (Saturday 20 September 2020), emergency services were called to the northbound lane of the Heathcote Road overpass, Moorebank, following reports that a car had hit a motorcycle.

Upon arrival, NSW Ambulance paramedics treated the rider for serious injuries before being taken to Liverpool Hospital in a critical condition.

The driver of the Honda HR-V, a man aged in his 30s, was taken to Liverpool Hospital for mandatory testing.

Officers attached to Liverpool Police Area Command attended and the crash investigation unit will investigate the circumstances surrounding the incident.
