Motorcyclist seriously injured in two-vehicle crash at Queanbeyan

Investigations are continuing into a two-vehicle crash in Queanbeyan this afternoon.

About 3.20pm (Monday 23 December 2019), emergency services were called to McCrae Street, near Lanyon Drive, following reports a Toyota Yaris sedan and motorcycle had collided.

The motorcycle rider, a 74-year-old man, was taken to Queanbeyan Hospital in a critical but stable condition.

The driver, a 57-year-old man, was not injured and was taken to Queanbeyan Hospital for mandatory testing.

Officers from Monaro Police District established a crime scene with Crash Investigation Unit officers investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash.
