Police have charged a 41-year-old man after more than two million dollars in cash was allegedly discovered following a routine intercept in Merbein South this morning, Victoria Police say.
A semi-trailer truck was intercepted on the Sturt Highway after the driver was identified to have an outstanding warrant about 6.15am.
Police searched the truck and a small amount of drugs and more than two million dollars in cash was found.
The Deer Park man was charged with dealing with proceeds of crime and possess a drug of dependence.
He was remanded to appear in Mildura Magistrates' Court on 6 April.
