Museum welcomes Council appointment

The Australian National Maritime Museum welcomes the announcement by Minister for the Arts, Tony Burke MP, of the appointment of Mr Padraig (Paddy) Crumlin to the museum Council.

Museum Chair, John Mullen AM said, 'We are pleased to welcome Mr Crumlin to the Council. He has decades of maritime experience, and his knowledge complements the rich experience and insights of our Council.

Ms Daryl Karp, AM said, 'There is arguably no person with greater passion for the Australian maritime industry and its people, for an institution like ours, that is about capturing the stories that shape our nation, Mr Crumlin's knowledge and experience will be invaluable.'
