NAB confirms Tasmania's businesses are the most confident in the nation
Today’s release of the National Australia Bank (NAB) Monthly Business Survey results for December 2018 show that the State’s strong economic performance is continuing.
Tasmanian businesses once again lead the nation as being the most confident.
In fact, while national conditions have continued to deteriorate, Tasmanian business confidence grew in trend terms to three times the Australian average.
Business conditions in Tasmania remain strong as the Hodgman Liberal Government delivers growth-supporting infrastructure investment and policies.
This is in addition to the very positive reports by CommSec and Deloitte Access Economic released this morning, which confirm that Tasmania is seeing its strongest economic and population growth in a decade.
The Government will continue to be a strong advocate and supporter of our business sector to grow more jobs for Tasmanians.
