NAB Hamilton Is On Move

National Australia Bank

NAB's Hamilton branch has some exciting news – with their current lease coming to an end in July, the team is getting ready to move to a new location in the Newcastle area.

"We've been working hard to find the perfect new home for our branch," said Megan Dyson, NAB Hamilton Branch Manager.

"After more than 30 years of proudly serving Newcastle's community from the Hamilton branch, we're looking forward to reopening in a new location."

The branch's dedicated team of seven, including service champions and home lenders, are preparing for the branch's last day on July 31.

"While we are sad to be leaving Beaumont Street, we are excited about a new home and have been exploring promising locations in greater Newcastle," Ms Dyson said.

While the Hamilton branch prepares to hand over the keys to their current location, NAB wants to reassure customers that their commitment to the area remains solid.

"We're not moving away from our community, we're recommitting to it," Ms Dyson said. "Whether it's helping first-home buyers get their foot in the door or supporting local businesses to expand their operations, we'll continue to be the financial foundation our customers can build on."

NAB will keep customers updated when another location is secured. In the meantime, customers can expect a seamless transition with minimal disruption to their banking:

  • NAB's business customers in Hamilton and surrounding areas will continue to be supported by their local banker.
  • NAB customers can continue to access face-to-face banking through nearby post offices, including the Hamilton Post Office (250m from the branch) and Broadmeadow Post Office (1.3km from the branch) or NAB's Newcastle branch (2km away).
