National Arts and Disability Consultation

The Tasmanian Government welcomes the Australian Government’s announcement of consultation on the National Arts and Disability Strategy.

The consultation will help us find ways to maximise opportunities for people with disability to experience full inclusion in Australia’s cultural life.

To ensure as many people as possible can participate in this important national consultation, those interested can contribute through face-to-face consultations, provide a written, verbal or recorded submission, or complete an online survey.

I strongly encourage Tasmanians to have their say on how we can improve access to the arts, increase participation of people with disability, and increase professional arts training and employment opportunities.

In Tasmania, face-to-face consultations will be scheduled in Hobart and Launceston during October and November.
