National Simultaneous Story-Time

Lithgow Council

Lithgow Library is thrilled to be participating in the 22nd National Simultaneous Story-time on Wednesday 25 May 2022 at 10.30 am.

This year’s story is “Family Tree”, a sweet book written by Josh Pyke and beautifully illustrated by Rohojoy Ghosh. It is a heartfelt celebration of family, community and the seasons of life so library staff are excited to share this wonderful story with you.

National Simultaneous Storytime (NSS) is held annually by the Australian Library and Information Association (ALIA). Every year a picture book, written and illustrated by an Australian author and illustrator, is read simultaneously in libraries, schools, pre-schools, childcare centres, family homes, bookshops and many other places around the country.

Storytime is free and held every Wednesday at 10.30am in Lithgow Library and every Tuesday at 10.30am at Wallerawang and Portland Libraries.
