NATO Chief in London for Talks With Starmer, Zelenskyy

On Tuesday (17 March 2026), NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte visited London for discussions with United Kingdom Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer and President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

The Secretary General welcomed the agreement between the UK and Ukraine to enhance security and defence industrial cooperation. The Secretary General underlined NATO's continued strong support for Ukraine.

As well as his meetings at Number 10 Downing Street, Mr Rutte attended President Zelenskyy's address to the UK parliament.
