
Queanbeyan-Palerang Regional Council is pleased to announce the appointment of Matt Kendall as Director Infrastructure Services, commencing Monday 30 March 2026.
Mr Kendall brings more than 25 years' experience delivering major transport, water, sewer and environmental infrastructure programs across NSW, the ACT and national government.
He has managed significant projects for NSW Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water focused on Murrumbidgee Valley and Murray-Darling Basin Programs, and major partnerships to deliver infrastructure projects across urban and greenfield catchments. His career includes senior executive roles leading complex capital works and community-focused infrastructure initiatives, with a strong focus on governance, collaboration and delivery outcomes.
QPRC General Manager, Rebecca Ryan, said 'Mr Kendall's experience in strategic infrastructure planning and major project delivery will support Council's continued focus on safe, sustainable and innovative infrastructure services for the region'.
The Director Infrastructure Services leads a broad portfolio including roads and transport, water and sewer services, waste, facilities, assets and major projects, playing a key role in delivering infrastructure that supports a growing and connected community.
Mr Kendall said 'I am looking forward to working with Councillors, staff and the community to deliver practical infrastructure outcomes that create lasting value for the region'.
