New enriched issue of Blueprint now available online

The latest issue of SAPOL's magazine, Blueprint, is now available to read online via Issuu, showcasing the extraordinary efforts of SAPOL personnel to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

In a first, we have enhanced the online Blueprint experience with a series of videos to complement this standalone issue.

Featuring an interview with newly-appointed Assistant Commissioner Craig Patterson and a rare glimpse inside the busy Police Operations Centre, Issue 2 of Blueprint delves into every facet of SAPOL's comprehensive COVID-19 response.

Exploring the challenging roles of sworn and non-sworn personnel from the border to the boardroom, readers will learn about how SAPOL has prepared for this singular emergency, resourcing a number of new and complex functions including the Central Assessment Unit, Adelaide Airport operation and supervised hotel quarantine.

Tracing the vast Victorian border from Naracoorte to Bordertown, Blueprint reveals the personal stories of an eclectic mix deployed to border duties, including Dog Operations handler Senior Constable Josh Bourne, recent graduate Probationary Constable Emma Berry and ADF Reservist Brevet Sergeant Paul Zuromski.

The magazine also includes a heartwarming story about the generosity of South Australia's border communities, who have so graciously welcomed SAPOL members into their midst.
