We've started works on the highly anticipated skate and BMX park extension at Gilbert Park, Knoxfield. Shaped by community feedback and delivered in partnership with the Victorian Government, the extension will include:
- Beginner & junior-friendly features to help riders build confidence
- A mix of street and transition-style obstacles for variety and fun
- Shaded areas, lighting, and a picnic shelter for comfort and chill time
- Improved pathways to make getting around easier
Construction starts in December 2025 and is expected to wrap up by March 2026. The park will remain open throughout the works, with safety fencing in place to minimise disruption.
