New RADF Committee appointment

Elizabeth Cavanagh has been appointed to the Regional Arts Development Fund (RADF) Committee.

Council thanked Peta Cooke for her four years' service on the RADF Committee delivering outstanding outcomes for artists and arts workers across the region.

Miss Cavanagh's family groups are Yirraganydji, Kuuku Ya'u, Meriam Mir, Kala Lagaw and Wonnarua and her appointment will be a valuable addition to the Committee, bringing over 25 years of experience as a jazz artist, arts advisor, arts grants assessor, music teacher, events coordinator and public arts project support officer.

Her four-year term, with an option to stand down after two years, will be effective from 10 September.
