New Restrictions and Stay at Home Orders Now in Place for Dungog Shire

From 5pm tonight (Thursday 5 August), Dungog Shire and 7 of our neighbouring local government areas, have been placed under NSW Health's Stay at Home Orders for a period of 7 days in response to the emerging COVID-19 situation in Hunter / Newcastle region.

These orders will remain in place until 12.01am on Friday 13 August, unless we are otherwise advised. This means you must stay at home, unless you have a reasonable excuse. Reasons for leaving your home can be found at on the NSW Government's website.

Face mask requirements and mandatory QR codes are still required.

If you live, work in or have visited any of the local government areas of Lake Macquarie, Newcastle, Port Stephens, Cessnock, Maitland, Singleton, Muswellbrook or Dungog on or since Saturday 31 July, you must comply with these Orders.
