The Hodgman Liberal Government is committed to ensuring our regional arts sector continues to thrive.

Regional Arts Australia has announced Launceston based organisation RANT Arts Ltd. as Tasmania’s new Regional Program Administrator.

The Regional Arts Fund supports sustainable cultural development in regional and remote communities in Australia.

Both are experienced artists and arts workers, with a strong understanding of the regional arts sector state-wide.

The Hodgman Liberal Government congratulates RANT Arts Ltd. on securing this important responsibility.

Recent funding of $55,868 from Arts Tasmania will ensure that RANT Arts Ltd. has the capacity to undertake this new task, whilst also delivering an exciting program of activities focused on the needs of Tasmanian artists and arts workers state-wide in 2019.

Arts Tasmania will work closely with the organisation to transition administration of the Regional Arts Fund smoothly and efficiently.
