Police have charged a Newnham man after he discharged arrows in the Invermay area this morning.
Around 10.05am police responded to reports of a man discharging arrows from a recurve bow at houses on Invermay Road.
Shortly after police searched the area and a 38-year-old man from Newnham was located and taken into custody.
He has been charged with unlawfully being armed in a public place, recklessly discharge a missile to the danger of another person's property, deface property and breach of bail. He was detained to appear in court later today.
No injuries were sustained as a result of this incident.
