EnviroGrants funding boost for wildlife carers
Logan City Council is strengthening its long‑standing commitment to the environment by increasing EnviroGrants funding to $250,000, with wildlife carer grants doubled to $3,000 to better support the rehabilitation of local native animals.
For more than 30 years, Council's EnviroGrants program has empowered community groups and individuals to protect, restore and enhance the local environment.
In 2026, the program is receiving a significant funding boost - reflecting growing community demand and the increasing pressures on wildlife and natural areas.
A major highlight of this year's program is enhanced support for Logan wildlife carers, who play a critical role in rescuing and rehabilitating injured, orphaned and displaced native animals.
EnviroGrants are now open for application, closing 11 March 2026.
