Police have arrested nine people following an aggravated burglary in Aintree.
Investigators have been told offenders attended an address in Bullion Drive sometime between 9pm on 16 July and 6am on 17 July.
They entered the premises and stole the keys to a white Volkswagen Tiguan.
They left the property and stole the Volkswagen from the driveway.
Once the matter was reported to police the car was tracked to an address in Woolspinner Crescent, Wyndham Vale about 8.35am.
Officers observed five males exit the car and head to an address in Shorthorn Way.
Members quickly attended the address and arrested two males in the driveway and took seven other males who were inside the residence into custody.
A 16-year-old boy and a 17-year-old boy have since been charged with theft of motor car.
Two 16-year-old boys will be facing a remand hearing on unrelated matters.
An 18-year-old man from Wyndham Vale has been released pending further enquires.
