On behalf of the Tasmanian Government I would like to extend my sincerest condolences to the family, friends and loved ones of the 79 year old woman who passed away from coronavirus.
The North West woman was being cared for at the Launceston General Hospital.
To lose another Tasmanian to this insidious virus is an absolute tragedy.
We must do absolutely everything we can to contain the spread of coronavirus and we will continue to take the necessary measures to do that.
Please, look out for one another. Stay home and save lives.
