Ninth person arrested as part of OMCG operation, SA

A West Croydon man has become the ninth person charged as part of an on-going operation involving an Outlaw Motorcycle Gang, according to SA Police.

On 8 September 2016, ten Adelaide properties were raided by police in the culmination of a lengthy joint operation involving the South Australia Police, Australian Federal Police and the National Anti-Gangs Squad (NAGS).

Operation Anna, focused on members and associates of the Descendants Outlaw Motor Cycle Gang, led to the arrest or report of seven men, mostly for drug offences.

An eighth man was arrested on 13 September for trafficking a controlled drug and possession of prescribed equipment.

On Tuesday 20 September Serious Crime Task Force Detectives arrested a 28-yearold West Croydon man for trafficking a controlled drug. His arrest relates to the seizures on 8 September.

The arrested man, an OMCG associate, has been bailed to appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court on 22 November.
