Mitchell Shire Council is calling for nominations for the 2027 Australia Day Community Awards.
These awards aim to recognise and celebrate the outstanding contributions of individuals and groups who have made a significant impact on the Mitchell Shire community. This year sees the alteration of two categories, the previous Access and Inclusion Award is replaced by the Health and Wellbeing Award, and the Sports Award in replaced by the Sports and Recreation Award. This allows a broader spectrum of nominees to be eligible for these awards.
