The Crisafulli Government has officially opened nominations for positions on the Multicultural Queensland Advisory Council.
Available positions are a three-year role advising the Minister for Multiculturalism on the opportunities and challenges facing culturally and linguistically diverse Queenslanders in every corner of the State.
Queenslanders from diverse backgrounds and locations are especially encouraged to apply for the renewed 11-member Council, commencing on 27 October 2025.
Minister for Multiculturalism Fiona Simpson encouraged all prospective applicants to express their interest and be involved in real change for Queensland's multicultural communities.
"We are looking for individuals who share the Crisafulli Government's commitment to achieving an inclusive, harmonious and united Queensland," Minister Simpson said.
"The focus of the Multicultural Queensland Advisory Council is strengthening access to services and opportunities that allow individuals and communities to thrive.
"We want applicants who are focused on practical, outcomes-focused solutions to ensure policies are responsive and grounded in community need.
"The Crisafulli Government values the diverse cultures and aspirations of all Queenslanders – particularly our strong migrant community, who did not feel protected and supported under the former Labor Government."
