Nominations Open For National Stroke Awards

Stroke Foundation

Stroke Foundation is excited to announce that nominations are now open for the 2025 National Stroke Awards.

The awards celebrate the achievements of the survivors, carers, health professionals, volunteers, fundraisers, researchers and advocates who make a huge difference in the lives of survivors of stroke.

Stroke Foundation Chief Executive Officer, Dr Lisa Murphy, says the awards highlight the strength and unity of the stroke community.

"I am so proud of the inspiring individuals who make up the stroke community and it's wonderful to be able to celebrate their courage, dedication, determination and triumphs."

Dr Murphy is encouraging the community to step-up and nominate.

"If you know someone who has demonstrated courage in their stroke journey, creativity in their recovery, or perhaps a stroke champion who provided exceptional support and care when it mattered most, please tell us about them so we can celebrate them."

Nominations close on August 29. The winners will be announced at Stroke Foundation's Stroke Awards ceremony in Melbourne on October 29, 2025, coinciding with World Stroke Day.

"Holding this special event on an international day of awareness truly highlights the global impact of stroke and shows that our community is not alone. We're all in this together."
