Nominations open for Police Officer of the Year, SA

The Rotary Club of Unley is calling for nominations for the South Australia Police Officer of the Year Award, according to SA Police.

Since its inception in 1978, the annual award has sought to highlight the service provided to our community by the South Australia Police.

It recognises outstanding acts of courtesy, courage, kindness, understanding, compassion and devotion to duty by any member of the SA Police.

Each year's winner is chosen by the Rotary Club of Unley from nominations received from individuals and groups in the community.

To nominate a police officer, please download the form from the Club’s website: http://www.unley.rotaryclub.org.au/specialevents/pooty.htm

Nominations close Friday 31 March, with the winner of the 2016 award announced later this year.
