Notice is hereby given that on August 18, 2026, an application pursuant to section 92 of the Competition Act, RSC 1985, c C-34 was filed with the Competition Tribunal by the Commissioner of Competition, regarding the acquisition by Nortera Foods Inc. of substantially all of the assets of B&G Foods Canada, ULC's Green Giant and Le Sieur business (the Proposed Acquisition).
- an order pursuant to section 92 of the Competition Act directing Nortera Foods Inc. and B&G Foods Canada, ULC not to proceed with the Proposed Acquisition;
- an order requiring Nortera Foods Inc. and B&G Foods Canada, ULC to pay the costs of this proceeding; and
- such further and other relief as the Commissioner of Competition may request and the Tribunal may consider appropriate.
Notice is hereby given that any motion for leave to intervene in this matter must be filed with the Registry on or before Thursday, October 15, 2026.
