The NorthConnex tunnel will be closed in both directions for testing of emergency management systems.
This will occur between West Pennant Hills and Wahroonga from 9:30pm Wednesday 9 March to 5am Thursday 10 March, weather permitting.
All traffic can detour via Pennant Hills Road to join the M1 at Wahroonga or the M2 at West Pennant Hills.
Heavy vehicles will not be fined for using Pennant Hills Road during the closure.
