A man has been arrested today after an investigation.
On Thursday 26 February 2026, investigators from SA JACET, a joint task force between SAPOLs Public Protection Branch and the Australian Federal Police (AFP), attended a residence in inner northern rural area of Adelaide and conducted a search as a result of an investigation into online child exploitation material (CEM). As a result, a 41-year-old male was arrested and charged with 1 x make child amenable (to sexual activity). He was refused police bail.
A number of electronic devices have been seized for analysis.
"This arrest follows an investigation by dedicated specialist Detectives who are committed to protecting children from those who seek to exploit and abuse children online. We will continue to work with our partners to identify, investigate and prosecute anyone who seeks to exploit or harm children." said Detective Chief Inspector George Fenwick, Acting Officer in Charge Public Protection Branch.
