Northern suburbs stalking arrest, South Australia

Police arrested a man from the Northern suburbs yesterday for stalking offences after his victim met him on a dating app.

On Monday 9 August, a victim reported her concerns to police after a man she met on an online dating app displayed stalking behaviour and she feared for her safety.

Detectives from Northern District CIB attended the suspect's Andrews Farm home address on Tuesday 10 August where they located various forms of evidence including mail in different women's names.

A 35-year-old man from Andrews Farm was arrested and charged with stalking and property damage. He was refused bail and will appear in Elizabeth Magistrates Court this morning (Wednesday 11 August).
