Police are investigating a series of thefts from vending machines at shopping centres across Melbourne earlier this month, Victoria Police say.
Investigators have been told a man, posing as a vending machine service man, attended the Burwood Highway shopping centre about 4.25pm on Friday 5 May.
Whilst at the shopping centre the man has gained access to a number of vending machines and stolen an amount of cash from each.
Investigators believe the same man is responsible for similar thefts at shopping centres in Narre Warren and Cheltenham
Police have released images and CCTV images of a man they believe may be able to assist with their enquiries.
On each occasion the man was wearing an orange high visibility Coca-Cola Amatil vest, however the man is not believed to be an employee of the company.
Anyone with information is urged to contact Crime Stoppers.
