A 31-year-old male Constable from Northern Region has today been served a Notice to Appear for one offence of possession of a Category R weapon between 11 and 14 January, 2017. The member is to appear in the Atherton Magistrates Court on 9 February, 2017., Queensland Police say
The officer is the subject of an internal investigation that whilst off duty he improperly used a conducted energy weapon (Taser).
