Community groups and sporting clubs are being encouraged to apply for Campaspe Shire Council's Community Equipment Grants Program.
This new, 'one-off' grant opportunity has been created to assist groups to purchase equipment that supports their activities and programs.
Mayor Cr Chrissy Weller said the Community Equipment Grants Program uses unallocated funds from the 2021/22 Community Grants Program.
"This reallocation of remaining funds means Council will continue to provide financial support to not-for-profit community organisations, groups and associations," she said.
"The maximum amount available for each application is $2,000. Applications will be assessed as they are received, which will take approximately six weeks to process."
