NSW police probe following two-vehicle crash near Albury

Police are investigating after a two-vehicle crash near Albury this morning, NSW Police say.

About 5.40am (Friday 9 March 2018), emergency services were called to the Hume Highway, 16km north of Albury, after reports a truck had collided with another truck, which was stationary and unoccupied.

Police from Murray River Police District attended and found one truck alight.

The blaze was extinguished by Fire & Rescue NSW.

The driver, a 53-year-old man, was treated by NSW Ambulance Paramedics at the scene for minor injuries, before being taken to Albury Base Hospital.

He will undergo mandatory testing.

Officers attached to Murray River Police District, established a crime scene and commenced inquiries into the circumstances surrounding the crash.
