NSW Civilian Worker Faces Malicious Damage Charges

A civilian police employee has been charged with malicious damage after an alleged neighbour dispute.

Police were called to a unit complex in the Sydney CBD on Friday 1 March 2024 after reports of an argument between neighbours.

Officers from Sydney City Police Area Command attended and were told minor damage had been sustained to one of the unit doors.

Following inquiries, police issued a Future Service Court Attendance Notice to a 36-year-old man.

The man – a civilian employee attached to a specialist command – is due to appear at Downing Centre Local Court on 17 April 2024.
