NSW Leaders Honored at 2026 Property Awards

NSW Industry Leaders Celebrated at 2026 People in Property Awards

NSW's property industry celebrated its people and their significant contributions at last night's NSW People in Property Awards Gala at Royal Randwick Racecourse in Sydney, recognising outstanding leadership, innovation and commitment across the sector.

Hosted by the Property Council of Australia, the gala event brought together industry leaders, professionals and emerging talent to honour the individuals and teams shaping the future of property across NSW.

Property Council NSW Executive Director Anita Hugo said the awards highlighted the people behind the projects who are driving positive change for communities right across the state.

"These awards recognise the people who make our industry strong - the leaders, innovators and teams who go above and beyond to create better places, better workplaces and better outcomes for NSW," Ms Hugo said.

"The 2026 winners reflect the breadth of talent across our sector, from future leaders and technological innovators to those whose legacy leadership has shaped our industry for decades."

The 2026 NSW People in Property Award winners are:

  • Pathfinder Award - Brendan Thomas, NGNU: Celebrated for pioneering leadership and innovation in the property and construction sector.

Winners in three categories – Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, Team of the Year, and Future Leader of the Year – will now progress to a national judging round. These national finalists will be recognised as part of the Innovation & Excellence Awards (I&E), Australia's premier national awards program for the property industry.

Ms Hugo said the awards served as a reminder that people remain at the heart of the success of the state's property sector.

"Whether through leadership, innovation, inclusion or service, these award recipients demonstrate the vital role our industry plays in shaping NSW - not just through buildings, but through the people who bring them to life," she said.
