NSW man charged after drugs after drugs and cash seized

A man has been charged after police seized drugs and cash at a home in Cameron Park in Lake Macquarie today, NSW Police say.

About 9.30am today, following investigations, officers from Lake Macquarie Local Area Command executed a search warrant at a home on Springvale Circuit, Cameron Park.

Officers allegedly found a hydroponics set-up, a number of cannabis plants, cannabis, an amount of drugs believed to be ‘speed’, and cash.

All items were seized and will undergo forensic examinations.

A 39-year-old man was arrested at the home. He was taken to Belmont Police Station where he was charged with supply prohibited drug, possess prohibited drug (x2), and cultivate prohibited plant.

He was granted conditional bail and is due to appear at Belmont Local Court on 21 September 2016.
