NSW man charged following service station robbery

Police have charged a man following investigations into a service station robbery at Rouse Hill earlier this year, NSW Police say.

Police were told that shortly after 11.30pm on Saturday 5 March 2016, a service station on Panmure Road, Rouse Hill, was robbed by a man armed with a firearm.

About 2pm yesterday today, police arrested a 23-year-old man in Annangrove and took him to Castle Hill Police Station. He was charged with robbery whilst armed with dangerous weapon and possess unregistered firearm-prohibited firearm.

He was refused bail to appear at Parramatta Local Court on Tuesday 26 July 2016.

Police are urging anyone with information in relation to this incident to call Crime Stopers.
