NSW man charged with producing child abuse material

A man has been charged with allegedly producing child abuse material after being arrested by police today, NSW Police say.

About 11.30am yesterday today, officers attended a home in Marmion Street, Mannering Park.

A search warrant was conducted at the premises with police allegedly seizing electronic storage devices, mobile phones, unregistered firearms and ammunition. All items seized will undergo further forensic examination.

A 54-year-old man was arrested at the home.

The man was taken to Wyong Police Station where he was charged with produce child abuse material, film person in private act without consent – aggravated, possess unregistered firearm x 3, not keep firearm safely, possess ammunition without holding licence/permit, handle explosive/precursor without authorising.

He was refused bail to appear at Wyong Local Court tomorrow.
