A man has died after being hit by a 4WD in Sydney’s south west this afternoon, NSW Police say.
The incident happened about 5.55pm today, when a 4WD travelling north along Menangle Road at Menangle Park, struck the man as he crossed the road.
The 75-year-old man, from Moorebank, died at the scene.
The driver of the 4WD, a 40-year-old man from Camden Park, stopped and rendered assistance.
He has now been taken to Campbelltown Hospital for mandatory testing.
Police from Campbelltown Local Area Command will prepare a report for the information of the Coroner.
