NSW man facing court over alleged 'peep and pry' offences near Wollongong

A man will face court next month after peep holes were detected at a local swimming pool near Wollongong, NSW Police say.

Earlier this year, staff members at a public pool in Helensburgh allegedly discovered a number of holes in an adjoining wall to a female change room at the location.

Officers attached to Wollongong Local Area Command were alerted after a man was allegedly detected peering through the holes into the women’s shower area.

Following further inquiries, police today, arrested and charged a 59-year-old man with five counts of peep and pry.

He was granted conditional bail and is due to appear at before Wollongong Local Court on Tuesday 17 May 2016.
