NSW police appeal after robbery of delivery driver

Police are appealing for witnesses after the armed robbery of a delivery driver in Sydney’s west overnight, NSW Police say.

About 9pm today, a 30-year-old delivery man had delivered a food order to a home on Lansbury Street, when he was confronted by two unknown men armed with knives.

The men demanded money. The delivery driver handed over cash, and the men ran away, towards Kalang Road.

The delivery driver returned to work and reported the incident to police.

Officers from Fairfield Local Area Command attended and are now searching for two men that they believe can assist with their investigation.

One of the men is described as being approximately 40-50 years old, of a slim build, with a white beard. He was wearing a grey hooded jumper.

No one was injured during the incident.

Investigations are continuing.

Police are urging anyone with information in relation to this incident to call Crime Stoppers.
