NSW police appeal to help locate missing girl

Police are appealing to the community to help locate a girl missing from the Wollongong area, NSW Police say.

Taylor Smith, aged 14, was last seen leaving her home on Military Road, Port Kembla, to go shopping in Wollongong about 12pm on Thursday 1 December 2016, and has not been able to be contacted since.

Officers attached to Lake Illawarra Local Area Command and family members hold concerns for her welfare.

Ms Smith is described as being of Caucasian appearance, 175cm tall, of medium build, with black hair and blonde hair extensions at the back, with blue eyes and nose and ear piercings.

She was last seen wearing black shorts and a t shirt with denim jacket.

Anyone with information or who sees Ms Smith should contact police via Crime Stoppers.
