NSW police appeal to locate wanted man

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a man who is wanted for breaching a court order, NSW Police say.

Archie Weribone, aged 24, is wanted by police for breaching an order imposed by the Supreme Court of New South Wales.

Mr Weribone absconded from a rehabilitation facility in Lilyfield about 6.30am today (Wednesday 29 November 2017).

He is known to frequent Leichhardt, Waterloo, Redfern, Hebersham and Wilcannia.

Mr Weribone is described as being of Aboriginal / Torres Strait Islander appearance, 185cm to 190cm tall, with a solid build and black hair.

He was last seen wearing a red long-sleeved collared shirt and black pants.

If sighted, members of the community are urged not to approach Mr Weribone; instead, they should contact Triple Zero (000) immediately.

Police are urging anyone with information in relation to this incident to call Crime Stoppers.
